i never knew!
what is it again?
i was badly caught in between decisions. i was trying to make plans for myself again, just that this time, it's for the weekend *gasps*.
what? okay you sure don't know me enough to know that for the past year, i have never spent a single weekend without boyfriend (disregard that one which we had a bad tiff and we spent a friday night apart, but still i bumped into him twice in that night).
so i thought i am getting sick of it. not him, don't start calling me yet. of the way the weekends were spent. so meaninglessly. so irritatingly. so quarrelsomely.
he is a student. i leave his weekdays alone. i only meet up with him on alternate nights, it depends. maybe more, maybe less. and occasional stayovers on tuesdays and wednesdays. or sometimes thursdays.
i leave his friday evening for him too. he can go play golf, bowling, dota, car wash, whatever i am sick to accompany him to.
but lately, in fact for the past 2 or 3 months, friday nights are filled with meetups with his friends. we stay out all night, standing around the cars, sitting around foldable chairs, waiting around carparks, doing nothing at all. TELL ME HOW APPEALING IS THIS TO YOU?! you'd rather sleep in a cinema, huh?
saturday nights' the same. and on saturdays, that kinda life starts even earlier. cos it's an off day for everyone. they meet for lunch, stay through dinner, goes for supper, leave after breakfast. fuck off man. seriously. fuck off.
i received news from mummy. this sunday i must there in malaysia. since sis is in hongkong, and mummy has to go to KL to attend a seminar, i have to watch the school. i didn't whine, she was caught in surprise i suppose.
everytime i see boyfriend rushing to meet his friends, it kinda piss me off and i start annoying him every way i could. and then he denies my wants comfortably, thinking he could get away with it. but it accumulates every time he does that. and now, i think it's quite enough. i wanna breakaway from this cycle.
so i tried to make plans for myself this weekend. i've already got some confirmation, but i am unsure if i can do it. it's especially so when...
i got into his car just now. he played this song and told me "didn't you say that if i found this song for you, you would stay happy every day?". apparently that song is extinct from all the download sources. i tried for years and never get any news. so i challenged him 2 days ago, just so casually, after hearing that on Love97.2fm (okay nevermind why we tuned in to that station). the exchange for the challenge was so ever casual too cos i seriously didn't mean it, nor expect him to manage. then maybe he so desperately needed me to stay happy every day to avoid the daily scoldings.
i didn't meet him till just now, 2 days later. i don't know if it is that he like the song too, or he really meant me to stay happy. i heard the song. now i don't know if i should go on with my weekend plans. probably the first time in 4 years he's managed to make me touched. in split seconds. i didn't know at that very moment what was it i felt. i didn't even give it a second thought. now i realize what is was.
so anyway, my title is all about - i never knew i am so easily contented.
it's buahaha. i am not such an unhappy person afterall huh.
seems like the 'fast and furious: tokyo drift' is out. all you losers who haven't watch it, do it fast. i watched it at sentosa on our anniversary! tahaha. how bitter.
